He should have said he was going to fund private schools not religious schools. Would of had more populist appeal but then Tory is as dumb as a box of hammers so it wouldn't have matter anyways.

What is McGuinty doing to help Ontario economically. The TSX lost $70 Billion today and McGuinty has done nothing. Way to go Ontario! You will be glad you voted McGuinty when you lose your jobs.

I was going Green, since I don't agree with the Tories', Liberal's, and NDP's ideals, but like always they don't win anything.

As for funding religion. I do not know what was in his mind when he said that. IMO, it should be that no religious schools should be funded, since it isn't fair to fund just one religion.

"Liberal plant likes theocracy" should be the title of this video. The taxpayer in Ontario funds one religion only. This is patently unfair, the historical argument has worn thin. In 1867 there was slavery yet we have done away with it.

Shouldn't have made any platform statement on this issue without public consultation, especially within his own party! The best leaders seek out others' views first.

Catholic system is an artifact of our history. Taxpayers CHOOSE on property tax bill to fund Catholic or Public system.

IMHO 'Religion' is largely a patriarchal construct of 'God', really only a Hatfields and McCoys family feud. Knowing God comes from within through personal spiritual experience.
