Jeonju (전수) is a city filled with history. in this episode of A Day Away, Jo and I showcase a handful of the many historical attractions in the city. Our stops include the Jeonju Gaeksa, Jeondong Cathedral, Pungnammun, Gyeonggijeon, Omokdae Pavilion, and a sampling of the town's signature dish.

  • I am applying to hopefully live and work here! That is where my mother is from and some of her sisters still live there. I also want to see the hanok village real bad, because I absolutely LOVE antique things <3

  • He stirred bibimbap with chopstick to preserve the rice from getting smooshed by spoon. It is the way they do it in the birth place of bibimbap. Learn it!

  • @jnh2102 it's because japanese eat rice with chopsticks (so does China) and a lot of foreigners think it's customary to do that after eating in a lot of chinese and japanese restaurants back in their own country.
