  • these guys were inhuman. hearns moving around from 147 to 175 icing fools like it aint nothin. fighting someone like hagler who already has a size advantage with one hand. and then hagler.. what a monster. what can u say he was just an animal. two of the baddest dudes of all time in one ring, fighting with all they got. when boxing is at its best.. nothing can compare

  • This wasn´t Hearns first fight at 160, he fought Singletary in 81,´Geraldo in ´82 and Sutherland in ´83 at 160lb. All non title bouts though. You cant keep but wondering how this one would have turned out if he hadn´t hurt his right hand, Hearns got the better of Hagler until he broke it. I think Hearns went into a panic loosing his most powerful weapon.

Hagler knew the only way to beat Hearns was to drag him into a dogfight, and he did...

  • I can't believe how anyone can even compare Hagler vs Hearns to Corrales/Castilo. Hagler and Hearns were champs those other guys were journeymen. What made Hagler-Hearns so great was that these were two elite fighters tearing into each other. Please don't insult Hagler-Hearns by comparing it to this other crap.

  • @moloko76 I think it would of been a different fight if Hagler was in his prime

  • HAGLER THE BEST OF ALL TIME

  • I missed viewing this fight & never saw any replays till now. Thanks mag6333

  • I like Haglers opening anthem. Was Hagler in the marines or the army or something

  • I think they are different kinds of fights. I think castillo corrales1 is the equal of Hagler vs mugabe. as far as matching up with this fight they are simply two different animals. one a long term slug fest with lots of dazzling spots, one essentially a long flurry between two of the greatest fighters ever to put on gloves.

  • PEOPLE CHECK OUT MY BOXING VIDEO, TIME 1:26:'Remember the name Mitchell Balker'

    SPREAD THE WORD,THX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • I definitely agree with all of you....most certainly the best fight ever, and I wish we could go back to the days of real champions and superstars fighting one another on a regular basis, and without sceaming "the money has to be right." Tommy actually broke his hand in the first round and still was throwing it with authority, but Marvin was a beast nonetheless.
