  • Picked up a newer version of that lower receiver. I paid $200 in Bakersfield. The only difference is the built in large trigger guard.

  • @19812000JR

Last time I stopped by their shop I saw those. They do look nice.

  • Hey.. Mesa? Huh but I don't know if I can pay the $300

  • @MaseratiChris556

I paid about $130.00 for it from a gun shop in Apache Junction

  • Sundevil outsources their items to have the finish applied to them. Did you call them and give them the heads up on the quality control? I personally go to their machine shop about once every other week and they are great to talk to and take pride in their machine work. Sorry you got the shaft on your lowers :(They are working on an Ar15/.308 combo vice block to hold your rifle while working on it. one side holds the AR15 and the other side can take the .308 version of the AR. Not yet in stores.

  • Have you put a trigger in it yet? If so, what do you think of it at this point? I am getting ready to order one in pink. (yes I am a girl) LOL From what I have found they look to be of great quality, just wanting as much info as I can get. Good Day !!!

  • I installed the DPMS lower parts kit two weeks ago and it all works great. A smooth install other than the bolt catch roll pin. I had a "Devil" of a time getting that thing in, but it was even harder on the Noveske lower. The nature of the beast I guess. I have not hooked it up to an upper and shot yet, but all the pins and such are exact and it matches up well with both the S&W upper and Noveske upper. Pink? Hoorah! That is awesome! Now go kill some zombies..

  • i picked up 4 sun devil pistol lowers. the finish was perfect on 1 and good on the 2nd and the other 2 are poor or bad very bad. i compared the stripped lowers 2 my bushmaster lower and for finish job i would have gottin 4 bushmaster lowers but at 50 buckes less on hte sun devil i guess u cant complain. now on to my ak projects 6 pollish underfolders and 4 rommy g parts kits. and yes i like both formats ars and aks are a lot of fun 2 shoot. i take both up 2 camp and have a blast.

  • When it was time to get my SBR that was the lower I chose to do it..Sun Devil even did the engraving for me at the factory to match the original..Dave at Liberty told me they are the best to go with..Once you SBR it your stuck with it for life so may as well get the best..Though the ATF did make me add some extra engraving which kind of changed things..but still looks good..

  • @Foehammer54 Funny you say zombies, I bought the sundevil lower with the safe/zombies markings.. lol... The only issue I found so far is, the beaver-tail part of the magpul miad pistol grip does not sit flush on the receiver, the receiver seemed to be a little too thick. so, I had to change the back strap of the grip to the short one.. No big deal though.

  • LOL zombies.. Thx for the info. I am torn between the pink & purple. Leaning towards pink but if I get 1 and really like it I will probably get both. It's not like lowers are hpyer expensive and you only live once. Well, twice if you count being a zombie. :)
