Convocation Speech Contest 2010 - University of Iowa

Incoming members of The University of Iowa Class of 2014 are invited to upload a video to audition to speak during Fall Convocation August 22.

All new first-year students for Fall 2010 are invited to audition. Entries are due before midnight, July 23.

Enter the contest by uploading your audition video in response to this contest video. Please limit your video to less than 2 minutes.

Private entries will also be considered. If you want only our judges to see your audition, send the URL for your unlisted video in an email to Admissions Web Editor sara-langenberg@uiowa.edu.

The incoming first-year student speaker for the Class of 2014's Convocation will be Alison Sullivan of Clinton, Iowa! Congratulations, Alison! The judges want to thank all of the students who entered the contest. They had a difficult time choosing among all of the excellent entries, but in the end, could choose only one speaker. They are looking forward to seeing you all -- the entire University of Iowa Class of 2014 -- at Convocation on the Pentacrest August 22, 2010. See you there!
