PREDICTION Magic Trick REVEALED!!! - Day 304 of 365

Ok, I had originally included this in the actual video but it ran way too long. The reason I get mad at some magicians on YouTube for exposing magic tricks is because they dont know what they are doing. They are revealing ANY trick without any thought.

Giving away the secret to a magician's new release or unique creation is plain wrong. It it totally pointless and has no reason whatsoever to be on YouTube.

WHAT I DO DIFFERENTLY..... Is teach mainstream traditional tricks that are easy to comprehend, perform and most importantly; TEACH!!! The tricks I share dont need special props that would be hard to find. I teach techniques and concepts that can be learned quickly and then PERFORMED for friends and family. There is HUGE difference people.

The effects taught are easily accessible in any beginner's magic book found at any library.

I hope you guys understand what i am trying to do here.

@kittfan76 Thanks for your time to reply to my comment but I think I will stick with Max Maven's, Marc Spelmann's and other mentalists' opinion who have worked this kind of effects a lot and I still think that the final choice should be made by the spectator. Thanks again anyway...

This was a great explanation; when you say; "If the magician makes the final choice it's pretty lame and easy to understand the method behind the effect" the key point when you are finished you need to re-state (before revealing) that she could have eliminated the keys (which is not true, but they don't know that) and that she had a free choice (she did) i have done this multiple times and no one has figured it out yet. If I did it again for the same person then yes they would figure it out.

Great trick, and it can be a good starting point to make up some variations with cards, etc.

I have a somewhat complicated opinion about revealing tricks publicly. Basically I agree with you, but in certain situations I'd better agree with revealing, e.g. when they're used for other than entertainment. I mean fooling people for profit, either by gambling or by making them believe that some guy bending spoons can also heal cancer, find lost children or whatever, is a worse idea than revealing.
