  • Strat is the guitar for sure! I like my guitar in the 2 pickup position using the bridge and middle pickup - honestly it's hard to say after that with all the variables like amps, pedals, chords not to mention your own personal touch. It think it needs some high bite without being harsh and i like a taste of break-up - that's my thinking.

all the best with your music,

    dale

  • your post means a GREAT deal to me sir....thanks! On another note...i used to play a lot with a guy who refused to play this song - almost like it was below him. People would request it and he enjoyed saying he wouldn't cover it. I guess i'm just the opposite - i NEVER get tired of it, and when i see people at gigs enjoying it as much as i do i feel thankful to get to share it! All the best with your music with your family....dale.

  • I commented before on your lights tutorial. I actually am close to being able to perform it including the solo work. When my boy was young I too got him started on the drums and we played together. I'm recently retired and have been able spend more quality time playing. My son and his friend come over on Tues. I feed them and then we play. We actually got to perform a short set recently and had good positive feed back from the experience. I really enjoy your work.

  • thanks for checking it out....all the best with your music!
