A Nutron bomb was designed to limit destruction of infrustructure not limit destruction of citizinery or any nearby military forces! It destroys LIFE! I'm not sure if neutron bombs would be the best option in this case. Iran possesses 10% of the world's proven oil reserves and 15% of its gas reserves (US Department of Energy, 2011). Some cluster bombs and biological warfare appears to be particularly interesting.

@jsledge85 hes not even dead yet, and what does that have to do with anyhting how is it any more of a deterrent than an h bomb or an a bomb?? i think the whole purpose of it was to beable to kill people but leave the building standing, but why bother leaving the buildings there is they will be so contaminated by fallout that you cant live there anyways? im not sure if it does leave radiation behind though or if it does if it is less severe than that left by a more conventional nuke

Considering the nuetron bomb helped to deter the Warsaw Pact from realistically considering a major land-based offensive through Central Europe, I think this man is likely in heaven. Neutron radiation doesn't reach very far. Soft targets like unprotected humans are definitely not safe from heat and blast in the target zone; so a 1 kT neutron bomb is going to do about as much damage as a 1 kT conventional nuke. But a 1 kT airburst above a tank column would do fuck-all to them; that's what the neutrons are for, to kill the tank crew and make the tanks to radioactive to use for days.
