Go to http://HydroponicsFriend.com for my blog.

This is a quick update of some of my hydroponic and self watering container gardening experiments this year. If you see anything interesting and would like a better explanation let me know.

The tomato plant in the top drip hydroponic system is called Mr. Stripey and the one in the bottom water bucket is a yellow pear tomato plant. They are both the first year I tried heirloom tomatoes and I am very happy with the results.

The self watering system is easily adapted to be used to keep a pet's water bowl filled.

  • is the pvc pipe closed at the bottom ??? plz relpy

  • @TheFatbaboon No, but the top needs to be air tight.

  • your awsome!

    and good work!

  • @Jaushkev Thank you very much! My hope is one of my ideas can help someone solve an issue they may be having. I feel things like inexpensive water storage, non-electric watering systems, and innovative ways of growing food is way too important to keep to myself.
