"LaRCS" stands for "Live and Record Combined Stereo", which means that on the left you can hear a live performance, while on the right side the clip version.
Regarding this video, here you've got 2 real duets and a virtual quartet :-). On the left Kylie and Dannii Minogue in the Young Talent Time (Australia, possibly from 1986), and on the right Aretha Franklin and Annie Lennox (Eurythmics).
I hope you will find this combo interesting! The video on the left was one of the first public appearance for Kylie, as a singer! The young Minogues were surprisingly good! (Of course, after all these years, I'm not surprised anymore :-)...)
