Gillig bus Detroit Diesel 6v92 Turbo first run in 3 years

This bus has been sitting for over 3 years and we finally got it started after the fuel system lost prime. The large 8D batteries were dead so we used two small 500CCA car batteries. When it finally fired up, this was the result. Running on 4 or 5 cylinders.

Nice! I grew up listening to this sound many times a day (Akron Metro Transit). There's nothing like a 6V92TA in a Phantom (never heard a bottom pipe -- you can actually hear the turbo!) Team it up with the Allison 74x, and enjoy a nice wind-out in 1st. Thanks for bringing back some memories.
