They should start using the Honda S2000 engine in Elise's. That would be awesome!

@891trigfoot - You'll note that the video review (:30) mentions the Celica engine. Obviously, the Celica isn't made anymore. When another poster mentioned the current Camry as the source, we mentioned the Corolla for a current car (but less correct) reference and that's obviously caused more confusion. Our apologies. The video itself is correct.

This car uses a Toyota Camry engine in the U.S. so this car gets good mileage and its also one of the most reliable sports cars on the market.

@sadmancho - It's actually the EVORA that has the Camry engine. The Elise has the Corolla 4cylinder.
But you're right... the result is MPG and reliability better than most dedicated sports cars.

@1HGClark - Yes, you are correct. You'll note that the video review itself (:30) mentions the Celica engine as the source for the Elise. Obviously, the Celica isn't made anymore. We mentioned the Corolla for a current car (but less correct) reference and that's obviously caused more confusion. Our apologies, we shouldn't have done that. The Celica engine is the best answer and if you've watched the video you've probably seen that mentioned.
