Bright light shooting with the Canon Eos 500D (Rebel T1i). We see the Eos 500D's tendency to exhibit frame wobble with motion, though overall image quality is impressive in bright light. More at infoSync World: http://www.infosyncworld.com/
As always Lucy or Lu is the star of the show with her photogenic self. CMOS sensors only work for still photography. The camera must have a CCD image sensor for video or you will get the (rolling shutter) wobble or jello effect as you see in this video. It is easy to confuse the wobble effect for lack of stabilization but that is not the case. For slow pans or slow moving objects CMOS is OK, CMOS sensors are also cheaper to produce. Canons SX30 and SX20 IS have CCD sensors with 720p video.
Oh yeah it would be amazing if it shot at 1080 with 24fps, and didnt have such bad "frame wobble" while moving. I would totally buy it if those were fixed.
there is auto focus (but the sound of the motor focusing will be heard in the video), there is also manual focusing.
720 is at 30fps, 1080 is at 20 fps, the human eye needs 24fps minimum for a 'smooth' look. i would take 720p @30 fps over 1080 @20fps, but that's just me.
Can you do a review on the Nikon d3100? I'm torn between 2 cameras the Canon 550D, Nikon D3100

Hi,
What lens did you use to film this video ?
Can you take a photo while recording ?
Is there an automatic autofocus mode for the video with this camera ?
Can you see a difference between 720p and 1080p recording ? (fluidity of the video and Quality)
I hope you will answer to my every questions !
Thank you very much.
