Excerpts from Theatre of the Dales' outdoor summer touring production of Shakespeare's The Tempest, filmed at Jervaulx Abbey. Music composed for the production by Ninon Foiret. Prospero, former Duke of Milan, seeking revenge on his usurping brother, Antonio, summons up a storm to wreck his ship. He uses his supernatural powers and has help from his 'airy spirit', Ariel.

  • This is really good! I didn't realise The Tempest was so easy to understand. Beats all the high brow stodge we are supposed to enjoy from the likes of the RSC etc..
