This was an amazing project that tells the story of Tomasa Salinog (Lola Masing) from the Phillipines. She was a "comfort women" for the Japanese troops . This project also represents a cry for justice to the many women who were exploited during the IIWW.

  • The violence towards women has been present in the world for many years. The "comfort women" are a real example of the abuse women received during the II world war.

  • Rape case by Korean soldiers in JP military is a different issue. It's not comfort women. It's a rape case.

  • Yearh, liars keep bad consciences of lyings til their graveyards.

  • Lies? Are you implying that the women from S. Korea, The Philippines, China, Taiwan, among others, were all liars?

Come on, don't give me your right wing theories. What was done, was done! No rhetoric can change the situation... perhaps a sincere apology from the Japanese government would make recognize these women sufferings.

  • >MainichiNihon

CCP you recieve order from will disintegrate soon. Ex Jinmin- Nippo editor refers CCP´s 60 years as culture of lies.

  • Nope.Apparent use of rethoric on

selection of your words doesn´t attribute to the contentions. The fact is the fact, the fake is the fake. Rememer the year 1972,hereafter these lies were created.

  • No matter how they called it... the result was devastating to the lives of these women. The reality of war and the devastation it caused to all these women are undeniable.

  • 従軍記者、従軍看護婦 are real existences、however 従軍慰安婦 (iannfu) didin´t exist like I told here. You should remember it was a fake word.

  • In Japan they used the term "ianfu" which means the same thing.
