I think you are really nice. :) I love the history of the Tarot cards. Will you send me some. I got the skill but there is no bookstore or anything around here that sells them. :( And i dont buy online. I made my own deck with skip-bo cards. ha.

@HearthCricket Tarot games are still played today and not just centuries ago. Tarot did not evolve in one linear direction from games to divination. The occult or divinatory Tarot is not the only modern form of Tarot. The Tarot games have surived and have also evolved and became more complex to where there are numerous variations played throughout continental Europe.

@Oudler Proper? I don't see why I would have to announce to all and sundry every time I take a deck out what they were made to "do" centuries ago. That;s just silly! lol! Who isn't acknowledging this fact? I happen to think all the major experts and those who have a lot sudents or whatever mention this quite often.... Just because something was made to do this....doesn't mean it can't easily morph into another and many other uses. Why so threatened by this in the 1st place? Proper? Wtf.

That why I hardly read myself, I have someone else do it. I read for others all the time though.
Someone elses perspective may be more positive than what you read it.

i think that whatever someone believes in is true like if a wiccan believes that spiritual candles and crystals work, then they do for them. If a babptist believes holy baptizing works to purify the soul, then it does for them. I hate it when ppl say "so and so is going to burn in hell cuz they believe whatever" no one knows for sure if God exist its what you believe tht really matters
