@RadarRider1701 Tell you the truth, you sound like a Tea Partier. Not one of the Neocons riding the party's coattails, but one of the ones who was there with Ron Paul when it all started.
The Tea Party was, originally, a libertarian movement against expanding the size and scope of government started by a Ron Paul rally on the 2007 anniversary of the Boston Tea Party which protested the Fed, high taxes, high spending, and foreign wars.
And here we go again. The Tea Party promotes hatred of difference (in sexual orientation, skin color, beliefs, and creeds,) hatred of intelligence (they label all smart people as "Liberal Progressive Socialist Terrorists") wants to replace science with superstition, and actively promotes a state-mandated and compulsory religion (Southern Baptist Christianity) and deny anyone the right to disagree with them, but claims to be "fighting for freedom"...Liars and hypocrites, all!
The Boston Tea Party was a protest of a corporate tax cut that applied only to the British East India company. Think about that when you read idiot boy Ryan's budget balderdash.
@TheCommonManUSA Well, like most liberals you're very quick to call anyone who disagrees with you a moron. The word "progressive" has an exact meaning in American politics; it's sort of a code word used by Socialists and Commmunists who don't want to identify themselves. I believe it came into common usage around the time of TR and Woodrow Wilson. The Founding Fathers had never even heard the word, so it's a total anachronism to call them "progressive." They were men who founded a republic.
lovely little propoganda peice. I hate to shatter this skewed view of events but as i recall the US installed Saddam he didnt under estimate you he knew the game. it's why your leaders had to invade iraq, the jackals couldnt kill him.
Look here is what you need to do, toss out that cunt Palin and all the other Neocon parasites in your group. they dont support freedom they support the perpetuance of the old left right paradigm and the true masters of your country. next, get some guts. RP 2012
You're missing the point of this video. Throughout American History, authoritarians have underestimated the will of the American people, and been proven wrong! President Obama and the public employee union leadership are still underestimating the REAL power of the people. And I say GOOD!
Obama's ouster in 2012 will be all that much easier if he, and pinhead socialists like some of those posting below, com=ntinue to trivialize the Tea Party Movement. But go ahead...keep it up!
@joshuancts Your comments are vastly misleading. No one with an IQ in double digits thinks that the Tea Party put a man on the moon. It's chronologically impossible.
What they HAVE done is put together a video montage of what they consider to be America's greatest moments.
The founding fathers were not "progressives." The term is an anachronism.
Funny how in this video they show Eisenhower who was a progressive , show images of WWI and WWII both fought by progressive presidents and even Nixon under him the top tax rate was 70%. The founding fathers where undoubtedly progressives. Huh is the Tea Party endorsing progressives?
@wildblueiris My father went from New York to Canada (his birthplace) to join the RCAF in 1940. His brother was lost in Italy in 1945. My father-in-law was a corpsman on Iwo Jima, Guam, and Bouganville. He, too, is one of the finest people I have ever met. God Bless America!
