  • so was this tuned to AaEeAa or aAeEaA?

  • @Schpudd It's tuned in unison pairs like a mandolin, so AAEEAA.

  • @voided3 what gauges are you using for these? also why pairs, does it just give a stronger sound like that of a 12 string?

    i've only ever done slide guitar in open c, and i'm really digging the groove of this - it's crazy it looks like you only have 3 strings on the guitar in this video.

  • @Schpudd Thanks! I'm using .042, .032, and .016 gauge strings from low to high, sourced from unused .009-.042 sets I don't use anymore. I wanted to try the double course setup to give a natural chorus effect and to make harmonics ring louder.
