火影(Hikage)
Directed by Sayaka Shimada
We usually enjoy sound, color, and light of fireworks.
Japanese has the concept of the aesthetics of subtraction.
This work is taken off sound, color and light of fireworks and fire moving is conspicuous.
These moving looks a internal energy of cell and like a innumerable stars.
Moving of fire make us introspective.

  • This looks entirely too real to be fireworks. It looks like 'Death from the Sky', and it made me cry.

  • @CyberneticArts Unfortunately, your comment come true... in Japan, we are threaten by "radioactive accident"...

  • This is beautiful its almost like drops of black ink in water

  • DÉRAPAGE is a unique event of audiovisual exploration that annually invites people from all disciplines to create a non-narrative sonorized audiovisual short piece of less than three minutes. Your videos can be in realtime, in animation, working with textures; shot in red, blue or green; in black and white or in color; hysterical or contemplative; name it! they'll find their place in Dérapage. So, now is time to submit your non narrative artworks for the grand screening evening of Dérapage 12.

  • Very inspired - pure aesthetics.

  • Beautiful! Makes me miss Japan so much!

  • looks like black rain, like fallin angels.... hypnotique dance in sorrow

    arigato !!

  • I think you are right: The movement of fire makes us introspective. Maybe it evolved from hundreds of thousands of years of humans sitting around campfires, staring into the fire, and sharing our reflections on the day, the world, and life.

  • I think this is the most beautiful, captivating, and poignant vid on YouTube.

  • hikage hanabi...
