I think he was gay. You have to remember it was the sixties - they had to be relatively quiet about anyone being gay.... It was a brilliant movie, really.

There are relatively few things I understand about this movie other than the fact that Leonard Nimoy is beautiful and I want him...in the end I'm kind of okay with this...

Is Julian gay and in love with Greeneyes? I sort of thought so at some points, but then I second-guessed myself. I really would like to hear Nimoy talk about this film, and what he brought to the character.

@frow9405 I would say that's a big YES because two taglines for this movie were "Homosexual outlaws on a rampage!" (which, lol, makes this movie sound a thousand times more titillating than it is) and "The Strangest Triangle Ever Filmed."
