I've tested this method with different paper. In my opinion paper from new Time and Newsweek works better. Try to buy a new magazine whose pages have not been touched.
A very glossy paper will do harm to your toner.

so do you have non-color laser printer? and you use inkjet photo paper? i read on the internet that it can damage your printer when using ink jet photo paper with laser printers. i bought samsung ml 1674 non-color laser printer and i dont want to ruin it.

@lartti83 If you concerned about your printer - don't use the toner transfer method then. Anyways, my printer feels just fine. But don't take my word for it.

@JumperOneTV the printer cost only 59 euros and i really want to make my own PCBs so think i'll take that risk. can you tell me the model of your printer so i can compare it to my printer.
