  • Amen austingirl0499. I will also leave and I don't even live in Houston! Even so, my mom's master bedroom's roof collapsed, trees fell on cars, windows blew out, fences broke, and we had flooding. God Bless those who need him.

  • Ike was a dangerous hurricane, I have been in Houston all of my life. Never experienced something like this! I stayed at my mom's job to hide myself from Ike, I had no electricity for 3 days! Galveston will never be the same, I go there sometimes during the summertime when it was nice and calm! I hope I never experience it again, next time I will leave!

  • I remember this hurricane; I remember gusts of over 107mph around 3am & my 2 story brick house was swayn bac & forth. I was leaning on my wall n my closet & felt it. That was 1 hurricane I will never 4get

  • I was in Northwest Houston, that was one hell of a sleepless night! Didn't have power for 8 days afterwards, and my dad hurt his spine too.

  • It was very ugly...I am from Galveston!
