Have you ever wished that something you did could make a major difference in someone's life? Well here's your chance! Shane, a soon to be 8 year old - battling Leukemia at CHEO. You can join Shane's battle with a simple Birthday Card. It may seem like an overly-simplistic gesture, but to Shane, it would mean the world.
So this is our chance to help a young boy get the wish he wants - join the group if you want to send a card and help out Shane! It's definitely not a lot to ask.
Shane likes frogs, motorcycles, and lego.
Only non-homemade cards count towards the record, but homemade cards are welcomed that contain lots of love.
Please send to:

ErroneousFunk get over yourself. my little sister had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (the same thing as shane) when she was 5, luckily she is in remission now. you don't have the slightest understanding of what it's like to go through that, and if i can send him a card and know it's making him smile then that is just as great as donating money.

what kind of insensitive prick would work out the figure to make a point AGAINST helping a child fighting a disease. No one gives a shit if you support it or not, don't post anything then

yes. this is ture that this is money that could be sent towards research but it's 3 dollars that can help brighten a kids' day and put a smile on his face and really i think that a story like this is not only encouraging other people to help a sick child out by sending him a bday card, but can also encourage people to donate to leukemia research. it's good publicity for pediatric councer foundations, etc.
