nice intro from Joe Strummer there and great vocals frok Kirsty. Remember seeing this when it came out when Pogues were probably at the height of their powers. Great stuff

Damn? Did they officially release this on DVD? I paid top dollar to get the laserdisc from a collector and then bought a laserdisc player just to view and capture it to my PC. Oh well. I stand by my decision. I also think that this is a miracle of modern songwriting.

Indeed, Liam. This is actually my favorite Pogues song of all time.
#2 is "Thousands are Sailing," a tune my great-grandfather would have undoubtedly identified with on his voyage from Ireland to here in America.
(Standard disclaimers apply: I'm a Bush-hating liberal and think my country is going to hell - it's not MY fault - I voted against him twice!) :)
