reacting to minutes 27-30 : with a stiff Tspine you're transforming your lower spine into a mobile section and get a reverse spine tilt...doing such a thing is going to prevent you from making a proper separation between lower&upper body am i correct ?
@golf3dguy First I am the one with FAI. Second once FAI either a) wears down cartilgae = arthritis which = new hip or B) wears down enough cartilage (maybe you can do microfracture but that is 50-50) and you need a new or resurfaced hip (me). Please stay out of conversations you know nothing about. Thanks!
pknyc - you are not making any sense at all. First of all, no one exercise is going to give you FAI - you already had FAI and the exercise probably just aggravated it. Second, any medical practitioner that has half a brain knows what FAI is - not sure where you are going to get medical advice - Walmart?. Third, FAI does not require a "new hip" - again not sure what you are talking about. You should get you facts straight before you start accusing people of hurting you. Lame!
@pknyc Don't get me wrong...I am not bitter. If I was I would sue the pants of the instructor and TPI for not properly training their folks. It is negligence and malpractice at the very least. You even said it..."must have had a level 1 instructor" There should be NO ONE giving advice on how the body works if they themselves don't know. I am just worried for the next guy who has to have arthoplasty b/c some idiot who has no clue what they are doing tells him to keep stretching.
@golfnutz99 I can understand your bitterness. But making blanket statements that "THEY HAVE NO MEDICAL BACKING WHAT SO EVER!" is false and defamatory. TPI is comprised of Athletic Trainers, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Golf Instructors, and other medical and sport related specialties. Accusing TPI Professionals as having no medical background whatsoever is wrong. I have a doctorate, and what happened to you is indeed wrong, but don't generalize to the rest of TPI.
@pknyc Does it really matter what flipping level now that I need a new hip @ 36!!! TPI is responsible no matter what level! They have NO MEDICAL BACKING WHAT SO EVER!
@golfnutz99 you were probably working with a TPI LEVEL 1 instructor. Level 2 is better and more info, especially if you're going to a specialized golf medical professional. TPI Level 1 instructors are not specialized yet. Level 2 has specialized tracts, which would have revealed your problems and prevented your hip surgery.

@pknyc Oh and BTW my chiropractor and PT's that I saw before surgery had no idea what FAI was either.
