Dragon Age: Origins (PC) - High Dragon Battle

This video showcases the optional High Dragon Battle during the quest for the Sacred Urn of Ashes. Unlike my Flemeth video this one isn't so much a strategy video but more a showcase video with direct fighting instead of kiting. As you can see my Rogue was not as effective in this fight because of the constant knockbacks. We simply chipped away at the boss while Alistair valiantly tanked the dragon from start to finish. It was a fun fight, be sure to especially watch the end. :)

Also this is my first video I am attempting to render at 60 FPS as opposed to my usual 30 FPS. Feel free to comment if the video seems smoother to you. Also, I know the audio crackles a bit in the video. I don't get the crackling when actually playing, only in the recorded playback. I'm currently trying to find the issue. Yes, I do have an X-FI card with the latest drivers.

i remember once on hard alistair died at about 70% boss hp, then i had morrigan tanking using her and wynne's force shield and we got the dragon.rogue archer/wynne/morrigan/alistair­.

@TheFallenAngel6236 the moment the game designers decided to crown the dragons as gods was the moment that determined your wish would never come true (it isnt a bad idea, it just went the opposite direction of the story they're telling)

I reallly wish there were more dragons as encounters in dungeons and stuff. They were really nicely designed and offered a challenge.

U used Force Field! Yeah, it's very useful when ur members were about to die XD I used it a lot too, Force Field + Heal spam. LOL

I was at like level 12 the first time I attempted the High Dragon fight. NOT A GOOD IDEA.

You really need some kickass stuff to be able to fight this beast and come out of it. I was able to take her down by around Level 16 or so, but I had the help of a glitch. She got stuck near the bridge and my mage and archer just chipped away at her while Alistair and I (both warriors) just wet ourselves laughing ... out of relief to be sure.

Died a lot still--dragon armor made it soooo worth it.
