Hi, I,m still afraid to make “Degas” rear during liberty work, because he had the tendency to rear while mounted. Also my daughter works with him sometimes (very few times), but I was wondering if it could be dangerous for her.

Yes, rearing can be very dangerous. I know a number of people whose horses have toppled over backwards on them. Sorpresa doesn't try to rear when I'm riding her, and I've never had her do that trick when I'm on her. Also, I've heard you should not teach that trick to a horse unless you plan to keep him forever.

Hi, what I noticed, that her tail is always so relaxed. Great. I'm also working at liberty with my gelding, but he is not so keen of moving, he is quite lazy and needs a lot of motivation.

Sorpresa loves getting treats, so it's easy to motivate her with a little bit of grain or any tiny snack.
