  • We did not recover the buck. The shot grazed the top of the buck's back. Thanks for the comments!

  • Such beautiful animals and they taste great to :) That look like a spin shot but if it would have hit the spin dude would have dropped like a sack of rocks. Great job this is what hunting is all about!! Father son sharing a very special time for this young hunter...A big thumbs up

  • IF yiu are starving I am totally in favour of hunting. But this is just brutality.

  • Good try little guy... it happens to all of us at one time or another... gotcha a case of Buck Fever was all... still happens to me also... Congrats on the experience with your Dad!!!!

  • I watched it frame by frame. The shot was in the top of his back. Obviously not close enough to the spine otherwise it would have dropped. HHMM Im thinking maybe just under the skin or ripping the top of his back. But it looks like there was a lot of hair flying. My guess is the nice buck live to see another day. Ya learn from every experience. WoW !! Sure was exciting though. One of the best hunts Ive ever seen. :))

  • This was some seriously exciting footage ! That deer just comin right at ya at a fast pace. He had no clue you were there. I am curious as to whether or not you recovered the deer? The one guy posted the deers tail was down which is the first thing I noticed. Which does indeed indicate a hit. Get back with a follow up post and let us know if ya found him. Great job

  • it dosnt matter were he hit him the fact is that he did hit it if a deer gets shot 9 out of 10 times there tails go down as they run away.

  • i gotta pee

  • Too bad, I really don't believe they recovered that deer. The shot appeared to be in the ares under the spine and above the vitals.
