I have heard if you remove the rubber mic cover sound improves quite a bit. Not sure how to remove this rubber cover though.

nope,i read and tried that also.may have improved since then but audio even with the mic cover removal was totally unusable,don,t buy it for audio for sure...

I have since bought the Tachyon XC, which has much better sound. You should buy it!

well i have one now lol i got it for Christmas and uh it works well the only complaint i have is sound and some of the picture quality aka indoors just because lol.

they said its a cam that would get alot of wind because its made for biking and extreme sports stuff...i just got one and the audio can be turned off if you want...still a cool cam..read the manual though or you will think you wasted youre money trying to get it going right...only complaint i have is the display
