Denmead Scouts: Rememberance Sunday 2007

The Remembrance Day Parade held on Sunday
11th November was attended by three quarters of the Group's members.

After a brief talk by the Baptist Churches' minister the members and many parents marched through a slight drizzle to the Village Green in time for the 2 minutes silence at 11:00. The whole ceremony and March went without a hitch and though the weather was extremely poor, there were no complaints from the boys who were well behaved during the whole event and a credit to themselves and the Group.
