Good thing that it went ok. I think I have experienced vapor lock 2 times just after touch down the engine stoped. My gasculator is to close to the exhoust pipe and when the engine is at low rpm and it´s warm outside the fuel may be evaporated and the engine stops but at high rpm there is a grater fuel flow and it may not happend. I hope it´s like this anyway.

@razvan790120 Oh...youre from sweden, my nabour ! I am from Norway. 40km from OSLO. I am an instructor on a Zenair CH650E with 912ULSII. Had vapour lock on it now after 200+ HRS, witch resaulted in pre-detonation and the front left cylinder,piston and head melted. Awaiting new parts from Lycoming eng. AB :) Thomas

I totaly agree, but still I think you will get better performance with your sonex then I have with my zodiac. I have very thick wings. The wing are rectangular and thickest point is 273mm about 350mm in from the leading edge and this gives me alot of drag.

@razvan790120 Its to weak for all aircrafts. Bet it doesent put out any more than 65-70hp

Nice. I am curious how it will run. I have a zodiac 601 HD with the aerovee in front and I must say that this engine is a litle bit to weak for my aircraft.

@razvan Thats yet to come. I am painting the cowling and the stabilizer tips theese days. Plan to start flight tests soon.

nice, did you get any performance increase from the turbo?
I don't think you'll be able to have the heads handle the heat for anything more than T.O.

@DoctorofEducation No problem with the heads. Sonex has just flight tested theire turbo setup without and problems. I have over 60+ hrs on the jabiru 2200 with turbo. 7psi boost making 130hp
