MAM Freebass fb383 With Alesis SR16

Quick session With the MAM freebass 383 [roland tb303 clone]

The freebass is not sequenced its played via a midi keyboard.

3 tracks of the 383 and drum track from the alesis sr16.

Recorded this a while back.

Hello,

can the sr16 be used to sequence rack synths via midi?

I'm thinking of getting one for that purpose..if it will do it?

@SONGSTICKS the SR-16 is not sequencing the fb383 here I'm playing it via midi keyboard. The SR-16 can sequence external devices though via midi out, although it's not ideal as the SR-16 is a pain to program properly.

Thanks for that, I'll know not to bid on an sr-16 now.

I have an old Yamaha RX21 drum machine that is really easy to create your own beats on, but won't midi out. I'm thinking of getting the Sonuus G2M, Guitar to Midi converter to use with it.. think it might work!!
