Yes and no... You can use two Duracell D 1,5 V batteries in it, if you pull a bit in the brass in the bottom of the flash light... Or use a bit of aluminium foil to fill the gap between the batteries and the bottom... And then it works...

Haha it is sooooo long ago I can't even remember... Got it from my grandfather when I was I small kid... Feels like ages ago... I found it again a couple of days ago, and thought it should be pictured on youtube....
