Tool Time: Good Christians Threaten Atheist

FOX News was covering the story of the legal battle over a large cross being placed at the Ground Zero Memorial in New York. After Blair Scott, the communications director for American Atheists appeared on air he started getting death threats. He was quoted on the American Atheist blog saying he can always tell when someone from the group is on FOX News because his inbox explodes with hate e-mail. Over at the Fox News Facebook Page irate "Christians" didn't like the interview either. Take a look here.

If Christians worship an all-loving God of mercy who instructed them to love their neighbors and to turn the other cheek when attacked, then the people who left these hate-filled, murderous messages, who spew hate in God's name, cannot be good Christians. Which means they'll probably end up going to HELL.

Well, that's typical inbred Americans for ya. For a religion (Christianity) who advocates love for all, even for their enemies, they're not living according to their religion. If this theoretical "skydaddy" DOES exist and Atheists ARE damned, wouldn't these "bible-thumpers" BE in hell with us? :)

As I keep saying, Christianity ("heathens" go to hell) is no better than Islam (kill "infidels") and Judaism (enslave the "goyims"). They need to go back to the separation of church and state.

The hatred is absolutely blinding. Simply saying the word "atheist" is enough to get some religious folks into a death and hellfire tirade. I mean, they just see red. How are any of those comments appropriate responses to that man's objections? And yet Christians still insist upon holding onto the idea that they're the persecuted ones.

All buildings of steel girder construction have crosses all over the place. The girders have intersections therefore crosses. It would really be significant if the found the girders twisted into the star of David but a cross? c'mon. Use a bit of common sense.

Atheists are Wrong and Evil? Atheism is a Demonic Disease? All non-Believers will burn in the Eternal Flames of Hell for all Eternity? I understand peoples rights to their beliefs, but being a non-christian, even I can see that there is something wrong with those statements. Some people have distorted the sacred teachings to suit their needs and justify it as being the Word of God. What happened to "Do unto others what you would have done unto yourself? Love thy Neighbour?" Its a sad world.
