The call for action to fight climate change has been with us for years. This was taken 17 years ago at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, also known as the Rio Summit or Earth Summit, a major conference held in Rio de Janeiro from June 3 to June 14, 1992 for the UN International Environmental Conference. Remember, the cost of inaction or inadequate action far outweighs fighting climate change. What is the extra cost of using renewable energy against the incalculable cost of catastrophic global warming.impacts. Sea level rising, extinction of animals, drought and those are just three of a million things that can happen.
