Great job! I have used snow caves in very cold climates and they are worth the time and effort. Practice them before you need them for real! They made it look easy, you don't want to try one of these say on Mt. Hood in a storm, they call those folks the "Missing" and they will find you in the spring.

I wouldn't get in the garbage bag. Surely moisture would build up in clothes if someone got in a garbage bag.
