Not every museum can afford to keep the line nicely landscaped. A number of operations are run on a shoestring. Some are lucky just to have an operating car.

the equipment doesn't matter if your railroad doesn't go anywhere though - and that Johnstown car is just disgusting. Its "nice looking" but its so pathetic it can't even make it 25 feet up the hill....

Most of the equipment at that museum is kept in such poor condition that it should be in the junk yard, as opposed to the rail yard....
