This is a natural swimming pool we designed and built in Loretto, Ontario in 2007. Like our other design, this pool requires no chemicals (ie.chlorine), nor does it have to be emptied and refilled every year. The water is filtered with the help of a skimmer, a pump, waterfalls, which also acts as an aerator, and aquatic plants planted in an area surrounding the swimming zone.

  • does it require a filter?

  • @NicaKrnKid The pool is filtered naturally with aquatic plants surrounding the swim zone and is aerated with the help of the waterfalls. The water then passes through a skimmer at the opposite end of the pool which filters the water again before it is pumped back up to the main waterfall and passes through another filter before the water re-enters the pool. Cheers for the question.

  • is it homemade or did you hire someone? because i might make one myself

  • We are the company who designed and built the pool.
