Young Planners Workshop - Rise Park, Havering.mov

This film documents findings from a two-day design workshop in Havering. The project looked at the regeneration of Rise Park exploring how a youth centre surrounded by a green space can be improved for young people and their communities.

The project is part of the Young Planners Programme which is an Open-City initiative funded by the Department for Education, which pioneers a new and more sustainable approach to youth participation in shaping the environment: involving young people in decision-making processes around the built environment at a local level ensures that boroughs and neighbourhoods continue to incorporate the needs of young people, but also involves young people in all stages of the development process.
