  • where can i all of those things

  • @aymanetube eBay -- theere are many sellers.

  • Heyy Cyber ODC thankyou sooo much for taking the time to make these videos!!!!!!!!! i do have one question though so i bought the digitalizer and the bezel right... and i'm really excited about doing this.. but i'm worried that the glass might break and ruin the lcd in the process... so will the glass shatter or is it a special type of glass??

  • @xBabygirl14494x The glass is laminated, one outer pane and one inner pane with a plastic film in the middle, just like a car's windshield. The glass may crack, and small shards may break off, but it will not break catastrophically.

  • did you try heating up the glue that attached the glass to the frame/bezel, i hear taking a hair dryer to it loosens the glue allowing you to remove it with ease

  • I've heard the type of glue which holds the bezel to the glass could be heated (heat/hot air gun) enough to easily - or at least in a less challenging way - remove the glass from the bezel without damaging it.

Might work.. but I haven't bought my tools or digitizer to begin experimenting.. Thought you might maybe give this a try if you can.

  • hey man heat it up and then the glue will come off the bezel very easy, just use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat it up

  • In order to separate the glass from the frame you need to heat it up really well with a hairdryer. Once the glue is heated up it easily comes off. If you were really careful with taking off the frame without damaging it, the best part is, you don't need to apply new glue, you just reapply the glass to the frame and wait for it to cool down and it reseals.

  • i need a video to help me put the glass and bezel together, i blought new ones!

  • why didnt you just use a hairdryer on a lowish heat so the glue melted and then pull the black strip round the outside, in the inside of the digitizer?

  • uhmmm...you wont break the frame if you heat up the glass with a heat gun or a hair dryer, the glue melts then and it's easy to take the glass off :)

  • some bits of my frame are stuck inside the ipod and some are near important things so i cant remove them with out damaging the parts inside

  • dont the new screens come with the digitiser ?

  • Would you mind giving me a link to the digitizer you bought because you said it came with the frame and i really need it thanks!

  • if you make the glas hot and go with a little metal thing through it you dont brak the frame!!

  • I don't see why you thought it was so hard to separate the glass from the frame. I got mine out just fine with only one small crack. It is still in one piece though. It took me about half an hour, but all it takes is patience and it is easy.
