  • @rabbodirect65 OK, the mystery is solved ! I just love such comments, cause they learn me a lot !

    Take Care Brother !

    I agree, 100% : DADFAD !!!

  • @kickingmule I just started trying to figure it out today but I was learning a skip james song in DADFAD and it seemed to just fit for this song. DADF#AD is a more common tuning especially for folk but I've seen a lotta songs in both DADFAD and DADGAD too

  • @rabbodirect65 Hi, are you sure ? I mean a DADF#AD, open D is more common !? Well, whatever, it sounds good ! I think !

    Peace !

  • @lampens I think its low to high DADFAD played with a constant bassline throughout

  • @lampens Sorry to say, I have no idea how the git is tuned, but as you say its a bit weird, cause I had the same feeling. The git is tuned very low, but I'll better ask my good friend Josh Kalmus in Chicago !

Thanks for the comment and listening !

    Peace Bro !

  • What tuning is he playing this in? I can get some sort of thing with thumping the a string open and just fingering the melody notes and that sound on the second woohoho by just fretting the b note on the a string and strumming the open strings, but for the rest it isn't quite the same. The low e seems to be dropped down.

  • @BlastyMcNasty My good friend Josh Kalmus in Chicago, knows for sure, how to play this song !

Thanks for the comment and listening !

    Peace Brother !
