ai ki do the way to harmony between mind and body using ur inner energy (ki)
so there's no aikido without ki, when u just start practising aikido u can't feel the ki but with more time practising u start to feel the energy in ur movement, and for those who think that aikido is a joke i ask them to try it first, aikido is the best martial arts i ever seen, i was in kick boxing, karate, taekwondo, but when i met aikido i really found more confidence in it, cos aikido gives u more control in fight

@SiNkurwam Most attacks are at speed but in the case of slow, it is easy to avoid the attacker by anticipating his/her intent in the spark of the moment as mahesh stated already. Try for yourself, its quite fascinating.

@mapache11 Better to try for yourself first and then comment on your findings.

First of all, the aikido teaches the omission power.
I think that it is difficult for the foreigner understanding.

I see this is possible but the others need to be commin towards you with great speed in order for this to happen ... i don't any other possible way that u knock a person down with his force when he isn't really runnin ...

@yvanoseki i dunno about more efficient, but i think thry would stress more mental techniques first as the "ki" is what drove them from the aikikai federation when Tohei went "rouge". besides didn't o-sensei say that he could "see" the attack, slowly i see what he means, seeing the attack is very helpful

@maheshwarananda dude didn't "ki" break off from Aikido after Tohei decided 2 quit? so heres the question is ki aikido still considered aikido? why does the japanese government NOT recognize "ki" aikido as an martial art but they recognize Aikikai in the 40's???
p.s. -sorry 2 revive the old horse but i am curious!
Thank you for sharing! Just a word on the description of the techniques: I believe this is about Ryokatatori instead of Ryotedori. Enjoyed the video enormously, thanks again.
