Act 1 -13 cut scene -3 boss to arrive 1:09 Total 0:53 Without delays Act 2 -2 to actually beable to move -36 for cutscene and boss to arrive 1:56 Total 1:18 Without delays Act 1 + 2 Total without Delays: 2:11 I would say, in my opinion, you did well.

Challenge is:

Sonic 2 Challenge: All chaos emeralds, before the first boss. No cheats. No Debug Mode. You could also have other people submit to you, their fastest time, and try to beat them, as an interactive challenge.

and as for the challenge; is that even possible?! xD i wont lie to you, the honest chance is that i wont be able to complete it =\ not because i wouldnt try my hardest to, but because at the moment i have about 30 challenges running from ages back and due to school and my demanding hobbies, i hardly have time to sleep, let alone do youtube videos :( Ill try my hardest to get time to do it but...just a warning :(

I've done it myself, back when I still had a sega lol. Used to run sonic through the zones so fast that he would be offscreen. Basicly could play blindfolded. (not literally, but it felt that way)

yeah. you see, when i do these challenges i try to do what the challenger sets but in some cases i have to request a time change seeing as im simply not THAT good at speed runs. in my sonic 2 speed challenge i base the times on MY records and increase them by a bit, i COULD have done it in 3 minutes MAYBE but i thought 4 minutes would be more do-able for me. but either way it's a video that allows people to waste time watching and learn nothing from it, eh? :P

As far as I know the WORLD RECORD for act 1 is 0:46 and for act 2 1:20 so that's over the limit. I don't see shaving 6 seconds off players like SprintGod and StrongBad.

Theoretically possible with Knuckles though... but once again incredibly hard.
