  • In case you havent seen the other three videos in the series, you should view them as well. This is just a sample of the sort of calls that take place in Asia, and you will learn to take it for granted, soon enough.

Dont know if there will be much "manipulation" in Sydney, because both teams are outsiders from the AFC powers that be. With luck, it will be a relatively clean and exciting contest, and I look forward to it. Sadly, it just might be the ONLY clean away contest in this competition.

  • Its nothing to do with historic grudges, its to protect the tournaments image. If you have teams losing by 10 goals what does that say about your tournament?

I see its gonna be alot worse at sydney simply because Australia are a physical team and they are gonna do anything to blunt the Reds Attack. I hope for a Reds rout.. wait and see

  • Thanks for this upload and your views. I'll be heading off to the match between Sydney FC and Urawa and I'll be sure to keep an eye out. Although the ACL is out the window, I really do hope the Asian Cup won't display the same pathetic standards.

I hope the introduction of Australia will up the standards however, since they don't have any real historic grudge against Japan.
