I worked on the Chinese to Esperanto dictionary on this website. It is a collaborative, fun, huge, and highly functional site put together by the coolest people you'll ever meet.

Do you think Esperanto is the best auxlang candidate? Have you met any esperantists before?

I've learned Esperanto in 1990 and I was fluent in it in about 6 months. I had the chance to personally meet many people who speak it. It's by far the easiest language to learn and gives you an unbelievable liberty of expression (far superior to English). Only in the city I live I know about 20 people fluent in this language (and it's not a big city).
Do, mi certe rekomendas Esperanton kiel la plej bona komunikrimedo kiu disponeblas nunepoke. Bonvolu lernu ghin!

  • Hey, I start learning Esperanto soon. Thx for the recommendation, but I already have got a free program which helps me with it. I like this language because I dislike the domination of English. :)

  • Mi ankaux ne sxatas la regecon de la angla lingvo. Alie mi jam vidis vian jutubo-pagxon - kaj mi pensas ke vi certas esti interesa homo. Eble vi povos partopreni en la venonta SES programo? Bonsxancon! -Jano

  • @goodatlinerider lernu is a very good website. You should be able to get a good handle on it from the site alone, but once you start having fun, you will want to expand though. "Pasporto al la Tuta Mondo" and "Mazi en Gondolando" are good video courses. "gerda malaperis" is supposed to be a good book/audio course.

  • @goodatlinerider Of course, there are other resources. I'm not the most able Esperantist, but I've found lernu.net unbelievably useful.

I don't know if you're British or how old you are, but google "junularo esperantista brita" (JEB, for short) - it's the British Esperanto Youth forum - a great resource.

  • I just learned about esperanto today, is this website the best way to learn? can I learn just from this website? Or will I have to use other sources?

  • Preety cool vid, I'll check out the site and try to learn Esperanto.

  • Great intro - I will use this site ; in fact will follow your advice. This was the final straw for convincing me to learn Esperanto.

  • tiel mi lernis!

    bona malmultekosa varbado, bona laboro.

  • looks like a great site, i'm going to try to use it

    lol
