@Gutsyndicate no the man who bought part of the company of the new branch that was working with off road segways ironically fell off a 100 foot cliff while ridding an offroad segway

This guy is so intriguing and humble. He seems to not just understand machines but more so understand how machines relate to people. He really should have a more elevated status in terms of America's educational direction but alas politics, greed and general stupidity turn people like this off. So sad.

Kamen appears to be a truly decent person, who wants to invent things to help people improve the quality of their lives. It's nice to see someone who can make a great living as an independent inventor [though we shouldn't forget his talented team of engineers who have made his later inventions possible]. I was dissapointed by the behaviour of Russell Crowe towards him when he was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Crowe treated him like nerds are usually treated in High School, badly.

just saw this guy on the Today show.....never had heard of him before....the segway i agree is "trendy" but the man has created so many good inventions to help so many people......kudos to you Dean
