Larry Sabato's National Constitutional Convention Intro

This is my introduction to the National Constitutional Convention, held on October 19, 2007 in Washington, DC. The event featured past vice-presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro, Justice Samuel Alito, and former Senator and presidential candidate Bob Dole, along with a myriad of constitutional and political experts. We discussed the possibility of calling a second Constitutional Convention and what changes are needed to fix our broken system of government.

Just now heard about this book - have yet to read it - but the notion of revamping the constitution is something that has repeatedly occured to me and in the current climate, perhaps it is time to do just that.

Mr. Sabado, you sound exactly like the type of person who, once engaged in a new Convention, would take it to the furthest possible reaches of reason & possibility, totally ignoring all calls for sense & control, making it a total runaway Convention only seen in our nightmares, with the goal of writing a completely new Constitution.
