Your HHR is not the best vehicle to use Hydrogen, infact if the dealer sees you doing this they will void your new car warranty.

Hydrogen burns faster then gasoline. You cannot adjust timing on that vehicle without major mods. You are way over your head!

My dealer help me hook it up on the computer wires underneath the hood to control the O2 sensors and then I was able to manipulate the map sensor. My next test will be adding rubbing alcohol with the mix of HHO Gas totaling up three gases entering in through the throttle body butterfly flap. So far on the Internet no one has introduced on an automobile three gases including the HHO through the throttle body mixing with the existing fuel.

if you use an hho generator you may want to find a way to cool the hho going in so the engine wont run too hot now that you have the gas leaned out.

If you have seen my experiment using a 5 hp engine after running half-hour long only with HHO gas the exhaust temperature was 130° - 150°.

The problem with alcohol is your compression is way way too low for it to produce anything but extended flames in your exhaust. Alky engines run hi compression and they use twice as much alky as race fuel and your HHR's compression is too low. Like I said, poor vehicle to chose and you have lots of expensive mods to overcome before you will be successful.

A 200 horsepower engine is = to 149.1 kilowatt hour if you want to reduced your gas consumption by 10 % and replace it with HHO you would need an HHO output of 14.910 kilowatts.

OK let's say that you have a power source capable of delivering 300V X 49.7A = 14.910 kilowatts then and only then could you accomplish this. But where does the energy come from to produce the 14.910 kilowatts?
