Hoshana Rabbah is the seventh and last day of Sukkot, and the day before Shmini Atzeres when we begin the annual celebration of the completion and restarting the cycle of the weekly reading of the Torah. Hoshana Rabba is named for the fact that more hoshanot prayers are said on this day than all the previous days of the festival. On Hoshana Rabbah we beat five aravot, (willow branchs) on the floor and then launch them at the Aron Kodesh (the ark for the Sifrae Torahs). These rituals mark the end of Sukkos and the end of the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur cycle. Furthermore, these practices, like the blessing and shaking of the lulavim (the palms you see everyone holding) go all the back to the Bais Hamikdash—the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
This clip shows a group of celebrants at Yong Israel of Tampa performing one of the seven Hakafos in which we circle the Torah and the Bimah (the table on which we read the Torah). Rabbi Rivkin offers prayers in both Hebrew and English here so that everyone viewing can understand them.

@RambunctiousRussians=Ahav is not posting a Christian doctrine, he is neither Catholic nor Protestant nor Orthodox Christian, he is a Messianic Jew. Messianic Judaism is the fulfillment of Biblical Judaism and the teachings of the Torah and it's a legitimate branch of Judaism.

@Ahav
Why are you speaking of Pesach when the moed here is Sukkot? 2ndly why are you ranting about jesus when this is Judaism (no they are not the same religion...no matter how badly you want it to be so).
Please (for respect purposes) refrain from posting christian doctrine on Jewish videos that are in no way encouraging a religious debate. I, along with many (many) others will highly appreciate this.

Did you know that YAHUSHUA (called "Jesus" or Yeshua)Died physically on the passover-day? thus HE became not only our sacrifice-lamb given for our sins but also HIS blood covers our beings ("doorposts" = Hearts and souls) as a sign so that the judgement (angel of death) will "pass-over" us in these end-times! When our former selves die in Him, our new everlasting beings live with him as HE, YAHUSHUA IS LIFE Itself... Amen!
