@surfco It was not my intention to offend or be disrespectful about Danny Gatton's passing. I did recognize Gatton's brillance on guitar but I stand by what I said. I have never heard a guitar player emulate another guitar players style as much as Gatton did Buchanan.

I don't see the need to mention Danny Gatton's name, Sweet Dreams was Roy's song. I know
Danny was a great guitar player, but most of the stuff he gets credited for, Roy actually
pioneered.

Excellent !!! These are 2 of the tracks that kick off my weekends. others are Rory Gallagher's Brute Force and Ignorance 1979 and Johhny Winter's Johhny B Goode from 1984

For all the people who say these guys have bad tone - blame utube not the Hellecasters. If you are ever lucky enough to see and hear guys like this live you will never be the same after.

@Megazord24 Really-someone actually brought up Kurt Cobain's name here? His wealth and icon status proves you can be a musical hero, having attained the instrumental skills of a first week, exceptionally lazy guitar student, and the vocal skills of a screaming baby with no interest in learning to talk. Whereas, the Hellecasters are great players in a great band, which I suppose, is a commercial liability.

jefftri it is a slide but it's a just like a ring that u can keep on while ur playing and use it when u want to. so it's always there.
